On the afternoon of February 20, 2025, an academic delegation from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Jiangsu University of Technology—including Associate Deans Tao Weige and Wang Qi, Professor Xie Debing from the School of Management, and Dr. Liang Bao—visited BESTAR for a collaborative exchange. The visit focused on key topics such as joint research and development, the co-establishment of internship bases, and innovative models of industry-education integration, aiming to explore new approaches to collaborative technological innovation and joint talent cultivation.

The meeting began with a presentation by Cedric.Bao, a representative of BESTAR, who outlined the company’s development strategy centered on “technology-driven, acoustics-empowered” innovation. He highlighted the company's R&D layout in smart acoustic systems and in-vehicle tactile technologies. Following that, Mr. Zhang Yonglei, Vice President of R&D at BESTAR, introduced the company’s latest roadmap in the field of micro-system thermal management and expressed strong interest in future cooperation on research and talent initiatives.

Associate Dean Tao Weige provided a comprehensive overview of Jiangsu University of Technology’s strengths in academic development, research platforms, and talent training, emphasizing the university’s focus as an application-oriented institution committed to industry-education integration.

BESTAR has always placed great importance on talent development and aims to leverage school-enterprise collaboration to foster a pipeline of skilled professionals. During the discussion on internship and employment cooperation, the company proposed internship positions in software testing, hardware development, and more—hoping to adopt a “mentor-apprentice + project-based training” model to enhance students’ hands-on capabilities.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaching a preliminary consensus to jointly build internship bases and co-develop technology research projects, promoting seamless transitions between scientific research outcomes and talent development.

During the visit, the university delegation toured BESTAR’s showroom, laboratories, and production facilities to gain a firsthand understanding of the company’s achievements in smart hardware and acoustic technology, as well as their practical industrial applications.

Both sides agreed to strengthen the integration of “industry-academia-research-application” through resource sharing and mutual complementarity. This partnership aims to enhance students’ employability while providing enterprises with adaptable and skilled talent—contributing to the region’s high-quality economic development. The exchange laid a solid foundation for deeper future collaboration between the university and the enterprise.
